Destroy or quench harmful free radicals
Antioxidants, such as selenium, are substances that help our bodies to destroy or ‘quench’ harmful ‘free radicals’ that are produced quite naturally in the human body and which, if allowed to proceed unchecked, can harm tissues and organs. The organic Seleno-L-Methionine form of selenium has been used here because of its superior absorption.
This product provides Selenomethionine which contributes to the raw materials from which the body makes glutathione peroxidase, as well as another enzyme that converts thyroxine into the more active tri-iodothyroxine (T3) which has a fundamental role in basal metabolism. Glutathione peroxidase has an important antioxidant role in the body, neutralising free radicals - highly reactive substances which, when in excess, can be harmful. Selenomethionine is yeast free, stable and has been proven to be effectively absorbed.
Dosage:
1 tablet daily with a meal.
