Immune system & liver
Ornithine can be converted by the body into Arginine, Glutamine or Proline, although it may enter the Mitochondria more readily than Arginine. It takes part in the release of Growth Hormone and is often used in conjunction with Arginine. It helps to maintain and build up the Immune System and to regenerate the Liver.
Animal research has suggested that L-ornithine may promote muscle-building activity in the body by increasing levels of anabolic (growth-promoting) hormones such as insulin and growth hormone. Athletes have also found L-Arginine to be beneficial for muscle recovery and Growth Hormone Release.
L- Ornithine is presented in its free-form for maximum absorption
