Beta-sitosterol is the key ingredient in a prescription formulation in Europe, Azuprostat-beta-sitosterol, which has been demonstrated to improve prostate symptom scores and quality of life, and reduce urine volume and residual urine levels. The research team reported that “beta-sitosterol itself is an effective option in the treatment of BPH. Beta-sitosterol was also found to reduce the growth of human prostate cancer cells, and appears to be one of the key compounds in soybeans that suppresses carcinogenesis.
Dosage:
