The herb turmeric, Curcuma longa, has special oils containing curcuminoids — powerful compounds that possess strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties that may be valuable in the prevention and treatment of arthritis, cardiovascular disease and certain cancers. This Turmeric Extract contains a synergistic blend of curcuminoids, curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisedemethoxycurcumin.
