Did you know that up to 1 in 12 men may suffer from prostate problems especially in the “over 50’s” age group? Prostate cancer kills 1200 men per week in the UK and that 85% of men refuse to consult a doctor even if they have symptoms. The age of your father at your conception affects your risk of prostate cancer and you are twice as likely to develop prostate cancer if your brother has it.
The Prostate disorders test will detect a higher the normal level of PSA (prostate specific antigen) thereby identifying potential problems and allowing prompt treatment where required. It would be beneficial for all men over 50 years old to screen themselves regularly for the early signs of prostate disorders, even in the absence of symptoms, as early diagnosis, regular check-ups and treatment where appropriate could greatly lower mortality.
You may have of any or all of the following symptoms: Frequency, pain and/or difficulty on passing urine, poor urine flow, post voiding dribbling.

If the answer to any of the above is yes then taking the test should be beneficial.
If the test is positive you should consult your doctor.
If negative, then discuss possible lifestyle improvements with your health practitioner.
