For mood elevation and PMS relief
Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid, is the active ingredient in borage and evening primrose oils. It is a precursor of prostaglandins, a shortage of which may cause the mood changes and cramping experienced by many women suffering from PMS. This fatty acid may improve nerve function in diabetics. Our product from the borage plant contains 24% GLA (240 mg per capsule) as opposed to many evening primrose products containing only 9%. GLA is considered the functional form of omega-6, and therefore different from the omega-6 fat commonly found in vegetable oils and salad dressings.
Recommended dosage: one to two softgel capsules per day best with food or snack.
