The reverse osmosis filtration method improves the taste and odour of your drinking water and substantially reduces microscopic undesirable elements. With reverse osmosis, water passes through an ultra thin, semi-permeable membrane, which filters unwanted particles including sodium and lead. The result is a deliciously clear water.
The system can be installed by a competent DIY and will need ongoing maintenance in the form of filter changes.
The Sediment Filter, Carbon Filter and post carbon filters should be replaced annually and we sell a 12 month pack for your convenience.
The membrane should be changed only when needed. With soft water a membrane might last between 3 - 5 years.
The system needs a water pressure of at least 40psi to work effectively and works best on a softened supply. If connected to hard water, then membrane life may be reduced.
