Anxiety - Stress

Anxiety is an abnormal apprehension and fear often accompanied by physiological signs (sweating, increased pulse).

Stress is an everyday fact of life. It's what you feel when the demands on your life exceed your ability to meet those demands. When stress occurs on a routine basis from ongoing tensions in your life, it can lead to serious health problems.

Ongoing stress can cause:

Immune system problems. The hormone cortisol, produced during the stress response, can suppress your immune system, making you more susceptible to infectious disease.

Cardiovascular disease. Under acute stress, your heart beats quickly. When it does, you're at greater risk of developing angina, a type of chest pain, and irregular heart rhythms. Stress can also lead to heart attacks or stroke.

Too much stress may also appear in the form of infertility or fatigue. Other relationships between illness and stress aren't as clear-cut.

For generalized anxiety states take Allay with Kava-Kava and some vitamin B3. If insomnia is present then can add Positrol. If there are violent mood swings or cyclothymia then can add Lithium Oratate.
