The importance of diet cannot be over-emphasised for humans and animals. What you put into your body dictates the rest of your life and the state of your health. The same is 100% true for your pet. By feeding many common pet foods to your pet, you could be setting them up for an unhealthy life.
A recent investigation by the Consumer Reports Magazine found that over 50% of pet foods, including some “premium types” fell significantly short of common nutrients in guidelines set by the Association of Feed Control Officials.
What all this comes down to is that you cannot feed highly processed, heat treated food to your pet day in and day out and expect them to be healthy. Pet foods are full of preservatives, chemicals and are highly deficient in essential nutrients.
